Evaluation of the project

               The project will be evaluated by the use of questions asked via a questionnaire: about

the evaluation techniques for English classes in every partner school by English teachers about the

physical, social and mental well being during Language activities about the contents of the project.

Review of the participation and involvement of students in activities at the beginning of the project

and at the end monitoring of the levels of motivation throughout the project coordinating by

teachers involved. The project coordinator will evaluate the effectiveness of the communication of

the partner.

             Three times a year it is intended that participating pupils and teachers will complete a

survey to collect information on the progress and impact of the project. An evaluation rubric has

also been designed by the coordinating school in cooperation with all the participating institutions

during the preparatory visit in order to evaluate the progress of the project.

Firstly, when the project starts each participating partner will focus the evaluation process on the

project goals/aim/objectives. Then we will focus the evaluation on planning, communications,

resourcing (task management), budgeting etc and after that, within the implementation stage, the

evaluation will be focused on outcomes (students - learning effectiveness/efficiency, changes in

attitudes/approaches; teachers - change in teaching practices, attitudes or values).

Individual partners will hold the responsibility to identify evidence in the following areas of their

school:

                     Evidence of the effect on the students:

a) improved knowledge concerning the healthier food choices;

b) improved intercultural competence;

c) improved attitudes and motivation to learn;

d) improved communication (both in English and their native language), social and ICT skills

                     Evidence of the effect on teachers:

 a) improved teaching skills and methods;

 b) improved communication (in English) and ICT skills;

 c) improved intercultural competence;

d) improved social skills (being a host for a project meeting)

                     Evidence of effects on the school and community:

a) involvement of senior staff and head teacher;

b) school policy statement;

c) school strategy plan;

d) links with wider community - local schools and NGOs

        Evidence of good partnership within the project:

a) list of common objectives;

b) all partners have clear responsibility and identified tasks;

c) regular communication;

d) working meetings are well-prepared and productive

                    The teachers involved in the project will continually evaluate the progress of the Partnership using on-going assessment grids and interviews, sharing their experience and views for any possible improvement. The feedback from all the participating pupils and teachers as well as from our local or wider community will be carefully analysed and discussed with all the participating partners. Reports on the progress of the project and its impact will also be done by all participating schools three times a year and the coordinating school will collate them and write the final one that will be uploaded on the Partnership website.
